Dr Friedlander realizes that her clients have varying needs. She has created a MediSpa in her office to address those needs. It doesn’t matter what you call it, Brighten, Lighten, Tighten or Prevention, Protection and Correction or just plain Skin Health Restoration the process is the same. At her MediSpa she or her aesthetician will recommend a program that is right for you. This is not about selling you products; this is about educating you so that you understand what your skin needs to remain healthy, and to reverse the years of sun damage. We start with bookends. The items that everyone needs to maintain a healthy complexion. They are cleanser(not harsh drying soap) and toner followed by sunscreen. The things in between vary based on your age and your skin condition-oily, dry, combination or photodamaged. Making a commitment to ongoing skin care is the corner stone of any treatment. A little flexibility is needed to adjust to natural changes in our bodies. Dr Bev and her staff can create a program that works with your lifestyle and keeps you looking your best.

Have you ever looked at a spa menu, and tried to understand the difference between a signature facial, a spa facial and a clarifying facial? Well so have we. We have attempted to eliminate the confusion and put together a series of treatments that are easy to understand, that benefit your skin and provide a relaxing experience. Our facial treatments feature natural seaweed based products. Seaweed provides an incredible source of nutrition for our bodies and skin. It is an excellent source of vitamins and minerals with known health benefits. More importantly, these benefits when applied to our skin act to hydrate, protect and repair damage. The goal of our facial treatments is to create cleaner healthier and more radiant skin. Many of our clients look forward to these treatments on a regular basis because they love how their skin feels afterward, and they can take advantage of the “Healthy Skin Club” discounts.

We offer peels as well. Essentially, the peels are intended to exfoliate the skin(hence the name peel). They also act at a deeper level to improve photodamage and pigmentation and even to diminish fine lines. Superficial peels such as the Obagi Radiance peel removes surface imperfections and improves your skin’s look texture and fell in a matter of minutes providing tighter, smoother and brighter looking skin after only one application. Retinol peels can help to hydrate the skin, improve fine lines and stimulate collagen production. Deeper peels using TCA or other products provide even more noticeable improvement but need preconditioning for the best results.
